Assalamualaikum All.
1. In week two our team created a schedule of activities for the upcoming weeks so that we may stay on course.
2. Then we began piecing together the course objectives. Here is a sample of achievements we pray for our attendees and team members:
a) Be amongst those who take responsibility for the results achieved in their lives
b) Appreciate that individual actions and results are determined by the values we strive to uphold not only the words that are professed from our tongues.
c) Create a clear statement of ultimate purpose for their life in this world and all stages of their lives, and use the purpose as their target reflecting upon it daily
d) Seek to learn and uphold the values established by Allah Subhanahu’Wataala in the Quran, Sunnah and Seerah for each life area
e) Using feedback from their relations and their own imagination, use words and mental images to picture in their mind’s eye how they would live their life roles and fulfill their life responsibilities according to the values they are seeking to learn and uphold; how they would behave in certain situations and how they will respond in certain situations
f) Seek help through patience and prayer to bring into reality the picture they have in their minds eye
g) Appreciate that in order to fulfill their covenant with Allah in all the life areas and to help the less fortunate Muslims get out of their plight, there is the need in our community for people who are not afraid of using their talents, passions, skills and knowledge to use to generate serious wealth that would be used to build businesses, create jobs, establish top notch educational institutions and endowments
h) Make use of personal development courses and tools as a means of integrating the values of Islam into their lives and the lives of those within their circle of responsibility.
3. We are working on getting a Brother who knows about Train the Trainer courses to help us design our course in such a way that we can train other trainers to offer the course as per our vision.
4. We planned our video blogs for the next 3 weeks. Week 2 video blog is on Duty to Allah; Week 3 video blog will be on Duty to Self and Week 4 on duty to others.
5. This week we got stuck trying to be creative with our video blog with costumes, etc. We realized that we need to separate the video blog from our marketing effort.
6. The Millionaire Mohsin secured partnership with a world famous memory expert to promote a new program he is developing Insha’Allah, called Hifz Power.
